Frostburg Rehab Center in Frostburg, MD, is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver safe, timely nursing care in a short-term inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and long-term care setting. You will work under the direction of an RN or physician, monitor residents, administer medications, and contribute to care planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents under the direction of an RN or physician
• Monitor patients' health, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Support residents and their families with education, comfort, and reassurance
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Follows the plan of care as developed by the RN staff nurse, MDS Coordinator(s), or RN members of the Nursing leadership team
• Observes safety policies and reports any safety concerns
• Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity
• Fulfills the role of charge nurse when assigned
• Supervise and support Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) in the delivery of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff meetings
