Job summary

Lynn Care Center in Virginia is seeking compassionate LPNs to join our clinical team in our long-term care and skilled nursing facility. We offer full-time and part-time day and night shifts with competitive hourly pay and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Virginia.
• CPR/BLS certification required (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards, physician orders and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychological well‑being.
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort measures.
• Monitor vital signs and collect samples as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow regulations and policies.
• Mentor staff as needed.

Rate of pay: $32.50 to $37.69 (plus Shift Diffs as applicable)

What You’ll Do:

Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
