Part-time or full-time schedules are available, with a Friday–Monday pattern and opportunities to contribute across floors and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and a current state license.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (as per state requirements).
• 1–2 years’ experience with older adults in health care; geriatric mental health a plus.
• Team-oriented, able to design and implement care plans with a nursing team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and to Touchmark values.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members!

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Possess an LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
• Possess CPR/AED and First Aid certification (as per state requirements if it must be kept current).
• Have 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to support the care team on the floors
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
