Job summary

Touchmark at Coffee Creek in Edmond, OK seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a five-star, full-service retirement community. Part-time and full-time roles are available with a Friday–Monday schedule, delivering compassionate care with dignity to residents in a collaborative nursing team.

You will ensure high-quality daily care, contribute to care plan design, supervise care staff, and uphold Touchmark values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.

Qualifications

• LPN degree from an accredited school and current state license.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (as per state requirements).
• 1–2 years’ experience with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
• Able to design and implement care plans with a nursing team.
• Willingness to support the care team on the floors and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.
• Oversee care staff and assist in making informed care decisions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Provide compassionate, dignified care and presence to residents and families.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Touchmark you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in receive the highest level of dignity and care. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Possess an LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
• Possess CPR/AED and First Aid certification (as per state requirements if it must be kept current).
• Have 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Willingness to support the care team on the floors
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
