Schedule: Full time

Shift: Full time; Rotating schedule, two days on, two days off (Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm), split Fridays (usually 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm), alternate weekends (every other weekend, hours 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays), and some holidays

Location: Lake County (Clermont, Leesburg, Mount Dora, Tavares)

The role you’ll contribute:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the supervision of the Providers, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) cares for patients and performs a wide variety of patient care activities. Adheres to state, federal, and organizational guidelines to ensure quality care and patient safety, with support from the Clinical Excellence team. Plays a key role in maintaining organization and facilitating patient flow. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all.

• Documents and reports all procedures and assessments clearly and in accordance with department policy.
• Uses age-specific guidelines to assess patients during clinical check-in, documents medical information and vital signs, and assesses for signs of abuse or neglect.
• Performs and administers treatments, medications, and follow-up assessments ordered by providers, verifying as needed. Responds appropriately to clinical emergencies and triage situations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• State Licensure as an LPN in Florida
• CPR certification
• Continued maintenance of Drug Screen Certification after hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous urgent care or emergency department experience
• Prior pediatric experience (for Kids Urgent Care Centers)
• IV Certification
