Job summary

Community Care Physicians invites applications for a Full Time LPN at our Community Care Family Medicine office. This 40-hour-per-week position offers the chance to contribute to patient care in a busy primary care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS LPN license, has experience in a medical practice or as MA/PCT, and is proficient with EMR. Vaccinations, lab specimen collection, and patient education are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Experience as LPN in a medical practice or MA/PCT.
• Strong EMR skills.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of infection control policies and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.

Job description

Our Community Care Family Medicine office is looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
