Job summary

Community Care Physicians Family Medicine office in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Full Time LPN to join their team. This 40-hour/week role includes vaccinating patients, preparing patients for visits, and documenting information accurately in the patient record.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS LPN license, has EMR experience, and demonstrates strong clinical skills, confidentiality, and a commitment to quality patient care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or as Medical Assistant/Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by provider.
• Enter orders accurately into the lab system.
• Perform clinical procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medications, immunizations) as directed.
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider instructions.

Job description

Our Community Care Family Medicine office is looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
