Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a Licensed Plumber to join our team in the Portland area. The successful candidate will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install and service fixtures, and perform sewer and drain work with a strong emphasis on customer service and reliability.

The role requires an Oregon state plumbing license and at least three years of repair and service plumbing experience.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Proven ability to upsell plumbing products and services.
• Good written and oral communication skills for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls and inspect plumbing issues.
• Diagnose problems, propose solutions and estimates, and close service sales.
• Install and repair sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, disposals, and filters.
• Perform sewer and drain cleaning in basements, roofs, confined spaces and close quarters.
• Prepare invoices and collect payment, explaining the Roto-Rooter guarantee.
