Job summary

Southport Mechanical in Madison, WI seeks a Licensed Plumber responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostic and repair on plumbing systems, delivering high-quality customer experiences. This role supports residential and commercial customers with adherence to public safety codes and company standards.

Qualifications

Current Wisconsin plumbing license (Journeyman or Master).
Residential service and repair experience: drains, water heaters, fixtures, repipes.
Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
ServiceTitan or similar field software experience.
Tankless water heater and water treatment experience.
Interest in mentoring apprentices or helpers.
Friendly demeanor and interpersonal skills.
Willing to drive to various job sites throughout Wisconsin.
Willingness to purchase the required tools if not already owned.

Responsibilities

Meet with customers, evaluate needs and make recommendations
Services, repairs and installs plumbing equipment including but not limited to sinks, toilets, water heaters, sump pumps and boilers
Perform routine and preventative maintenance as needed to ensure ongoing functioning of plumbing systems
Comply with all applicable public safety codes, standards, policies and procedures, including safety practices and maintenance of a clean work area
Perform other duties as assigned to the role
