Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide individualized rehabilitation care under the supervision of a PT. The role focuses on improving mobility and independence for patients within a collaborative care team.

You will deliver therapeutic exercises, apply PT techniques, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on home programs while supporting a culture of excellence at our Cypress, TX facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) in Texas is required.
• Associate degree from PTA program required.
• Experience in an inpatient rehab (IPR) setting preferred; new grads will be considered.
• Must be able to work weekdays with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.
