Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
• Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence

Qualifications

License / Certifications / Requirements: Requires current Texas licensure (PTA) and Basic Life Support certification.

Education: Requires graduation from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Experience: One year of LPTA experience is preferred.
