Job Summary

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you’ll improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. Supported by well‑defined processes, predefined caseloads and a strong partnership with your team and supervising PTs, you’ll deliver high‑quality care with confidence and impact. Your responsibilities
  • Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility
  • Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care
  • Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs
  • Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence
Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  • (LPTA) Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
  • PTA licensed in the state of Texas is required
  • Associate Degree from a PTA program required as a minimum
  • Experience in a rehab setting preferred; new grads will be considered; acute care experience a plus as this position will rotate to acute care
  • Must be able to work weekdays with rotating weekends and occasional holiday coverage
