Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Physical Therapy Assistant role focuses on individualized care to restore mobility and independence. You’ll work with a supportive team, supervisors PTs, and clear processes to deliver high-quality care with confidence and impact.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Associate degree from PTA program required.
• 1–2 years of experience in an IPR setting required.
• Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per 4-week rotation.

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence.

• Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per 4‑week rotation.
