Job summary

Litchford Falls Health & Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team. You will provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a licensed PT, implementing treatment plans and therapies to help residents regain independence.

The role emphasizes mobility training, assistive devices, and education for residents and families. North Carolina PTA licensure and an associate degree are required, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered licensure as a PTA in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services to residents under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and other prescribed interventions.
• Assist residents with mobility training, transfers, balance activities, and modalities.
• Train residents on assistive devices to promote safe mobility.
• Explain procedures and treatments to gain resident cooperation.
• Monitor progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising PT.
• Maintain residents' medical records with thorough documentation.
