Select Specialty Hospital in Midtown Atlanta, GA is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for PRN/Per Diem/As Needed schedule. This role focuses on assisting the physical therapy team by delivering therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the PT, supporting patient mobility and recovery.

The ideal candidate holds a valid state PTA license and BLS certification, and can contribute to treatment plans, patient education, and functional rehabilitation while delivering

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of physical therapy services including transportation, therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist (PT).
• Assist the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions to meet patients' long-term goals (strengthening, balance, endurance).
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics or assistive devices.
