Job summary

Physio is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center in Atlanta. You will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to deliver quality PT services and help patients return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA with CAPTE certification.
• Active state PTA license or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff.

Education

College graduate of an accredited PTA program

CAPTE national PTA certification

State PTA license

CPR certification

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: Hourly rate starts at $30

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
