Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a PTA to provide direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a post-acute setting in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PT program (ASPT) and holds an active MA license, with CPR current or obtained on orientation.

Experience is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email is expected, along with strong communication skills and teamwork

Qualifications

• PT program graduate (ASPT)
• Current state licensure in MA (active & in good standing)
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, kept current

Responsibilities

• Follow PT-directed treatment plans and document progress.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude with patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Exercise good judgment and professional demeanor.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
