Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a post-acute setting. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and support patient goals with compassionate care.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited PTA program (ASPT), an active state license, CPR certification, and proficiency with Word/Excel. New grads are welcome; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (ASPT).
• Active state license required; maintain in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of the PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
