Life Care Centers of America is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will follow treatment plans, document progress, and support an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program, active licensure, and CPR certification. Strong communication, safety awareness, and adherence to policies are essential in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Licensed/registered in applicable State; maintain active license throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; remain current during employment.

Responsabilités

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures and laws governing post-acute care facilities.
• Implement and interpret the department's programs, goals, and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships; adhere to Code of Conduct.
