Job summary

Inova Physical Therapy Center-South Riding in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) for outpatient care. This Full-Time, Day Shift role includes one Monday-Friday schedule with two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm.

Work Location: 24801 Pinebrook Rd Ste 120, Chantilly, VA 20152. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, a retirement match, tuition and student loan assistance, mental health support and paid time off with parental leave.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program, new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
• Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame, appropriate form, and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
