Job summary

PACS is hiring a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant to support the PT team in delivering patient care in a post-acute setting. You will assist with treatment activities, document progress, and help educate families for discharge planning.

Preferred candidates hold a PTA license in good standing and are comfortable using Casamba and Point Click Care. Position is on-site with competitive hourly pay and DOE considerations.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA required per state boards.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT and treat patients as directed by PT.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department and treatment area.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training.
