Job summary

PACS Group in California is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will document and monitor progress, follow treatment plans, and help maintain a safe, efficient therapy department.

Responsibilities include recording daily and weekly notes, assisting with conferences, training staff, and communicating patient progress with the health team. Experience with Casamba and Point Click Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Read technical procedures and manuals.
• Interpret policies and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department and equipment.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in maintenance for discharge.
• Report problems with department equipment.
