Job summary

Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will help patients regain mobility and independence through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, working with an interdisciplinary care team in a resident-centered environment.

You will evaluate patients, implement plans, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and document progress in compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on restorative techniques and continued care strategies.
• Participate in staff training and interdisciplinary care planning.
