Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Therapy Department. The PT will evaluate patients, develop treatment programs in collaboration with physicians, and administer therapeutic exercises and modalities.

Qualifications include Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy and current state license. The PT may supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and coordinate care with other clinicians to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• PT degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current license/registration by state of hire as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop physical therapy treatment programs in collaboration with the physician.
• Administer active and passive therapies, exercises, and various modalities as prescribed.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients and caregivers in activities of daily living.
• Supervise the Physical Therapy Assistant if assigned.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Maintain professional ethics, patient rights, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
