Monadnock Care Solution Physical Therapy in Alexandria, Virginia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a full-time, onsite outpatient role. You will assess patients, tailor treatment plans, and apply evidence-based practices to improve function.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, using clinically-proven methods to assess physical functionality and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs that align with each patient's specific goals and conditions, focusing on both short-term rehabilitation and long-term health.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing various modalities and techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each patient feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their recovery journey.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation strategies, home exercise programs, and techniques to enhance recovery and improve functional abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Meet productivity and utilization metrics to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, along with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record systems to manage patient information efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families, fostering a trusting environment for optimal healing.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in physical therapy practice, ideally in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Experience working with a range of patient demographics and conditions, particularly in orthopedics, pediatrics, and sports medicine.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
