Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey education and instructions to patients.
• Proficient in documentation and administrative tasks using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized rehabilitation plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and improve functional abilities.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, adhering to best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and foster positive patient relationships to enhance treatment outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient care and address any emerging needs during the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients and their families on care protocols, therapeutic techniques, and preventative strategies to aid in long-term recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus
