Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Richmond, Virginia. Here, our dedicated team of healthcare professionals collaborates in a dynamic and encouraging atmosphere. We operate Monday through Friday with a standard 40-hour workweek, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. In this role, you will interact closely with colleagues from various specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the patient's physical condition and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address diverse patient needs, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills to educate and consult patients and their caregivers about recovery strategies and health education.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working alongside physical therapy aides and administrative staff to improve overall operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery in alignment with the physician’s treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment effectiveness, ensuring compliance with facility standards and regulations.
• Contribute to community outreach initiatives that promote health and wellness, reinforcing the organization’s role within the Richmond community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Monadnock Care Solution, you will work with a diverse patient population, catering to individuals across different age groups and physical conditions. This includes developing specialized programs for sports medicine patients seeking to enhance their performance, as well as rehabilitating pediatric patients recovering from injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster productive relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Experience working with various patients, including those with orthopedic and neurological conditions, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
