Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Missouri (Chesterfield) to lead operations, ensuring safety, quality, and excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise a team of technicians and pharmacists, manage workflow, and ensure compliance across licensing and accrediting bodies.

You will handle dispensing processes, verifications, and shift leadership while driving Lean initiatives to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in all required states.
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy (if currently an Amazon employee)

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, and customer experience of site operations.
• Manage daily operations and ensure same-day delivery targets.
• Review medication orders for drug, dosage, interactions; suggest therapy changes to prescribers.
• Set expectations, measure performance, and provide feedback to team.
• Educate staff on policies and quality practices; lead Lean initiatives.
• Coordinate licensure with state boards and maintain compliance.
• Staff development and succession planning; partner with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with laws and accrediting bodies (BOP, VIPPS, URAC, DEA, FDA, USP).
