Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN to conduct vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering professional customer service at a utilities location.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma. The role requires background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, equipment areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
