Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver at our Nashville, TN location. You will patrol, check credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced security environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license required as per policy.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations; document observations and report issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per post orders and escalation protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and deter unauthorized entry.
• Carry and handle authorized equipment in compliance with laws and company policies.
