Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer – Vehicle Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. Requirements include 1 year of armed security or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check as per laws.
Drug screen as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by following security procedures, site policies, and access-control requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, buildings, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles entering restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report according to post orders.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.
