Synchrony in Muncie, IN is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

License in Indiana (OTA), CPR certification preferred, and 0-1 years of experience are required. We offer weekly pay, benefits after first month, a 401(k) match, student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Current state OTA licensure in Indiana.
• CPR certification, preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in OT/OTA setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation of patients’ responses to therapy and report progress to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with observations and insights.
• Other duties as assigned.
