Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support occupational therapists in SNF settings. You will select activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes to advance patient independence under state regulations.

Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams, teaching home programs, and assisting with treatment plans and equipment use, ensuring compassionate, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities fitting patients’ needs and record progress.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans to help clients function independently.
• Assess daily living skills and assist with dressing and grooming.
• Maintain and assemble equipment for patient use.
• Demonstrate therapy techniques and patient emotion management.
• Attend care plan meetings to review patient progress.
