Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities to fit patients' needs and capabilities.
• Observe and record patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior, and maintain records.
• Communicate and collaborate with other health care professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and daily living skills.
• Assist with implementing treatment plans to help clients function independently.
• Assess daily living skills and aid in dressing and grooming.
• Attend care plan meetings to review progress and update plans.
