Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed occupational therapists in delivering treatments and procedures in SNF settings. The role may involve assisting in treatment plan development, executing routine tasks, and documenting progress.

You will collaborate with health care professionals, educate patients and families on home programs, and help clients function independently through adaptive equipment and therapy techniques.

Competenze

• Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards.
• Ability to travel to perform job as needed.

Mansioni

• Select therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities and observe progress.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans to help clients function independently.
• Assess daily living skills and aid dressing and grooming.
• Maintain and clean equipment and materials for patient use.
• Attend care plan meetings to review progress and update plans.
