Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure required for Optician role.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and basic math.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead in optical acumen and advise on product needs.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Maintain accurate product knowledge and use of tools; assist with complex prescriptions.
• Ensure store appearance is clean, attractive and organized.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
