Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optician to join our Garden State Plaza Mall team. You will help customers select eyewear, take precise measurements, and ensure each piece meets our high optical standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain prescription terminology to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to juggle many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and eager to learn and grow within the company.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, and lifestyle.
• Help establish best practices for sales and customer service.
