LensCrafters in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a licensed optician to deliver the brand value and provide premier eyewear fittings and service. You will create exceptional customer experiences by precisely fitting glasses and recording accurate measurements to meet both patient needs and company standards.

The role requires strong product knowledge, familiarity with iPads/tablets for transactions, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming, well-organized store that aligns with brand KPIs and safety

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Lead optical acumen in-store.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust eyewear.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilize technology and tools under time pressure with strong product knowledge.
• Analyze root causes and ensure customer satisfaction and exceeded expectations.
• Multi-task and prioritize competing priorities.
• Strive to meet Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, organized store environment.
• Report safety opportunities and follow safe work practices.
• Be proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn and improve.
