LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica Group, is hiring a Licensed Optician. The role focuses on delivering high-quality eyewear and legendary customer service. You’ll fit and measure frames, manage prescriptions, and use iPad/tablet tools to enhance customer experience.

This full-time on-site position requires state licensure and optical dispensing experience, with benefits including health care, retirement savings, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure required to dispense.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and insert prescriptions into lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and assist complex needs.
• Record measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Use technology accurately despite time pressure and volume.
• Contribute to store appearance, safety, and inventory management.
