LensCrafters in South Burlington, VT is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver premium eyewear and exceptional customer service. You will precisely fit glasses, record measurements and ensure prescriptions meet quality standards, while guiding customers through their vision needs.

As a leader in optical acumen, you will leverage technology, maintain product knowledge, and uphold brand KPIs. This role requires a state license plus dispensing experience and a passion for eye care and fashion

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure to dispense optical products.
• Optical dispensing experience required.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills and ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Lead in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain product knowledge and use of technology under time pressure.

• Keep store organized and presentable.
