TeamVision is seeking an Optical Associate in South Gate, CA to provide expert eyewear selection, measurements, ordering, and fitting to meet patient needs. You will help establish the practice as the premier destination for vision care in the community.

Responsibilities include precise measurements, supporting peers, and meeting KPIs while maintaining a professional appearance and high standards. Weekend/evening shifts may be required, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Active state optical licensure must be maintained.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork required.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems beneficial.
• Strong basic math skills required.
• Sales skills including tablet use.
• Willingness to adopt new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Custom fits glasses and inputs prescriptions precisely.
• Lead in optical acumen and mentor peers.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Ask patients targeted questions to understand needs.
• Assist peers with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Adhere to policies, manage inventory and discounts.
