Job summary

For Eyes is seeking a casual part-time Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and craft high-quality eyewear. You will greet customers, fit glasses precisely, and record measurements to ensure eyewear meets exact standards.

You’ll leverage an iPad/tablet and POS system to guide selections and support store operations. The role emphasizes strong product knowledge, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for helping customers look and see their best.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPAD/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers with a warm welcome and explains what to expect.
• Custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
• Leads with optical knowledge and supports associates.
• Takes and records measurements; ensures eyewear meets standards.
• Attracts new customers and probes needs with open questions.
• Ensures accurate use of store tools and follows brand commitments.
