Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Optician to join our store team. You will deliver expert optical fittings, accurately measure and fit eyewear, and provide legendary customer service while helping customers select frames and lenses.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure as Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of current eyewear products.
• Basic math skills.
• Familiarity with using iPad/tablet for sales.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations for service.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and professional demeanor.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear for fit and comfort.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain accuracy and knowledge with technology under time pressure.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage competing priorities.
• Aim for exceptional results on KPIs and customer satisfaction.
• Keep store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
