Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent (state variations).
• Maintain Active ABO and/or NCLE certifications.
• State licensure/registration ongoing.
• Eligible to sponsor Apprentice Optical Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with eyewear decisions and purchases.
• Measure pupillary distance and lens fitting details.
• Perform frame adjustments and repairs; final eyewear inspection.
• Process optical orders and payments; handle insurance claims.
• Support patient scheduling and pre-testing as applicable.
