Job summary

Qualifications

• State licensure/certifications for Optician in Charge as required by state regulations.
• Maintain active state licensure and NPI registration where applicable.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, unless state-specific regulations require advanced education.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions in the Optical area.
• Stock, set up, and maintain merchandise displays; handle damaged goods and pricing while ensuring area cleanliness.
• Measure and verify prescription information; perform eyewear adjustments, repairs, and order processing with labs and optometrists.
• Process optical orders and payments through POS; schedule appointments and coordinate with healthcare providers as applicable.
