Job summary

Pearle Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician in Lawrenceville, NJ to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store sales. You will fill prescriptions, fit lenses and frames, and assist customers in frame selection while upholding company standards and Planogram directives.

The role requires a state optician license, retail experience, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits including healthcare and discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician
• Experience and results with a retail or customer service establishment
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results
• Excellent communication to meet/exceed customer expectations and foster relationships
• Attention to detail in merchandising and pricing
• Ability to manage priorities through adaptability

Responsibilities

• Develops professional business relationships with Associates and Doctors
• Fills ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fits lenses/frames
• Measures bridge, eyesize, temple length, vertex distance, PD and centers
• Aids in training of new associates on frame and lens selection
• Supports timely merchandising per Planogram and Company standards
