Job summary

Pearle Vision is seeking a licensed optician for a part-time role in our Lawrenceville, NJ location. You will serve customers, fill prescriptions, fit lenses and frames, and ensure accurate measurements to deliver exceptional eyewear experiences.

Responsibilities include driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, and supporting doctor and staff relationships. Prior licensing and retail experience are required, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State licensure or certification as an optician.
• Experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to meet sales goals with strong communication.
• Attention to detail in merchandising and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and using effective sales skills.
• Develop professional relationships with Associates and Doctors.
• Fill ophthalmic prescriptions and fit lenses/frames; evaluate prescriptions with customer needs.
• Take measurements (bridge, eyesize, vertex, PD) and ensure accurate optical setup.
• Assist in training new associates and merchandising to Planogram standards.
