Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, seeks an Optician to dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and deliver outstanding patient care. You will train customers on lens insertion/removal and educate on products while helping the store meet goals.

You will maintain records, handle follow-up communications, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role offers growth through promotions and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training (required).
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including insertion/removal training and product education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications and weekly outreach.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to company policies.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
