Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to deliver outstanding patient care while supporting store performance. You’ll assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, training on lens insertion, and provide product education.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and meeting shop goals. You’ll maintain accurate patient records, manage orders, support inventory and merchandising, and mentor Apprentices where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with the ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up.
• Support quality and operational excellence by following safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
