America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, provide lens insertion/removal training, and deliver patient-centered care.

In this role you will maintain accurate patient records, manage order follow-ups, and communicate with customers to ensure timely notifications and satisfaction.

You’ll support store goals, maintain inventory and merchandising standards, and mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, multitask in a busy setting.
• Professional, friendly with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing.
• Provide training on contact lens insertion and removal.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain patient records and manage order follow-up.
• Reduce remakes and follow safety standards.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
